Applied Engineering Technology (AET)- Malaysia Facility
In 2021, Applied Engineering established its first offshore facility in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia. The new facility was set up to meet the increasing demand for contract manufacturing services in the region and to provide customers with a cost-effective solution.
The new facility in Malaysia is a sister site to Applied Engineering (AE) headquarters. Applied Engineering is a preferred supplier to OEM Semiconductor Companies and provides prototype to production volumes of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, including custom, automated motion control handling, inspection, and metrology platforms from full turn-key to FRUs to sub-assemblies. Many of these applications require precision, micron level, alignment, vacuum and inert atmospheres, bar code reading, multiple inspection steps, wafer transport, vibration/sound isolations, and tight contamination controls. The facility also has a dedicated team of engineers and technicians to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
Applied Engineering’s AET facility is strategically located in a prime industrial zone with excellent infrastructure and transportation links enabling AET to quickly and efficiently ship products to customers across Asia, Europe, and North America. AET is committed to providing high-quality contract manufacturing services to its customers while remaining competitive in the global marketplace.
